In a booklet entitled “What is an Anabaptist Christian?”, Palmer Becker identifies three core values at the centre of our Anabaptist-Mennonite understanding of faith and life. They are:
Jesus is the centre of our faith
Community is the centre of our life
Reconciliation is the centre of our work
Anabaptist Christians have much in common with sisters and brothers of other denominations. They also have emphasized the important of Jesus, church as community, and reconciliation.
Our sermons on Feb. 2, 16 and Mar. 2 will explore and celebrate the promise and challenge these values contain.
